Welcome to Organizational Resilience Amid the VUCA Era: Insights into Digital Transformation and Socio-Bureaucratic Planning focuses on the transition from Weberian bureaucracy to Digital Weberianism, which directly contributes to SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions). This is certainly essential for international students to study as it explores virtual organizations and how they impact organizational rationality, relevant to SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth). By exploring organizations in fluctuating environments and adapting to them, the course addresses SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), which is crucial for navigating the BANI and VUCA eras. Students will analyze and dissect organizational challenges, explaining the Gig Economy, Algorithms, and the shift toward digital governance. Using Root Cause Analysis and Social Planning, participants will formulate solutions to organizational and social problems while integrating the principles of SDGs 16, 8, and 9 into modern governance.
