This course studies the application of fluid and flow behavior in fluid machinery and pneumatic and hydraulic.
Upon completing this course, the participants will understand the characteristic of fluid machinery and hydraulic and pneumatic applications. Moreover, the students are also expected to have the ability to design and analyze a simple energy conversion system.
Course Learning Outcomes :
Students are able to apply the basic principle of fluid dynamics in the fluid machinery (CLO 1, 10%).
Students are able to analyze and calculate problems related to incompressible fluid machinery (CLO 2, 30%).
Students are able to analyze and calculate problems related to compressible fluid machinery (CLO 3, 30%).
Students are able to analyze and calculate problems related to pneumatic and hydraulic systems (CLO 4, 25%).
Students are able to apply and analyze the application of fluid machinery in buildings and/or power generation systems (CLO 5, 5%)
