Issues and Research in Sustainability Accounting and Reporting

This course discusses the current development of sustainability accounting and reporting concepts and research. Considering the increasing awareness of sustainability issues at the global as well as national level, this course has its excellence in describing the role of accounting in sustainability which is informed by research and practices. The current development in sustainability accounting can also be seen from the ongoing dynamics of international sustainability standards to complement the international accounting standards. Several lecturers in the Department of Accounting, FEB UI have published scientific articles in sustainability accounting in reputable international journals. These factors present the advantage of this course.
